Your numbers, not ours
We do not publish a payback figure.
It would be a number from someone else’s mill. Payback swings by count, by output, by yarn value and by how you run your shifts. So here is the model itself — put your floor into it, and every assumption stays on screen next to the answer.
Your floor
Long prep route, more can handling per kg. Modelled on the 60s combed compact reference mill.
What are you costing?
Indicative investment
₹84 L – ₹1.0 Cr
Planning band. Commercial terms come with a written proposal.
Net saving a year
₹21.8 L – ₹42.9 L
After operating cost, on your own numbers.
Payback
2.2 years – 4.3 years
Faster figure uses the Moderate column, slower uses Conservative.
Five-year net
₹15.2 L – ₹1.21 Cr
Savings over five years, less the investment.
AICAN
₹84 L – ₹1.0 Cr · 2.2 years – 4.3 years
- About 2,575 cans across the preparatory floor, on 33 anchor modules.
- Recovery is applied to sliver throughput (5,762 kg/day) at ₹220/kg, not to finished yarn.
- The low figure is the workbook's Conservative column: recovery of 0.05–0.30 percentage points per loss category, and zero production-rate gain.
Every assumption behind these figures
- Savings are the Conservative and Moderate columns of the AICAN sales workbooks; the Aggressive column is not used here.
- AICAN recovery is applied to sliver throughput on the preparatory floor at sliver value, never to finished yarn value.
- Production-rate gain is set to zero. We do not assume monitoring makes a machine run faster.
- AICAN operating cost is taken at 9% of capital per year, covering charging and AMC.
- AIRing value assumes a ring frame with no individual spindle monitoring today, unless you told us otherwise.
- AIBOA is modelled on full-fleet tagging against hard savings only, with no credit for claim avoidance that cannot be measured.
- Investment figures are indicative bands for planning. Commercial terms come with a written proposal, sized to your fleet.
This is a model. Your floor is not.
Every figure above comes from two reference mills and your six inputs. The version that matters is the one we measure on your floor, against your counts, your shifts and your waste — and we will put it in writing.
