Company

Built in textile country, not guessing at it.

AIMMASS Technologies Private Limited designs, assembles and ships from Podanur, inside the Coimbatore spinning belt. The mills we build for are a short drive away, which is why everything here was built with lint in it.

Why the can

We started at the object nobody was looking at.

Walk onto any spinning floor and the machines are magnificent. Then look at what moves between them: steel cylinders pushed by hand, identified by a chalk mark, carrying the entire output of the preparatory floor and able to tell you nothing at all.

That gap is where a mill’s quality problems live. The information that would have caught them existed the whole time. Nobody was collecting it, because the thing carrying it was not connected to anything.

So we made the object itself the instrument: the can, the bobbin and the spindle position, each knowing what it holds and where it is going. Everything since follows from that one decision.

How we work

Five rules, each of which costs us something.

Principles are only real if they are inconvenient. Every one of these is visible somewhere else on this site — which is the test.

01

Build for the floor, not the demo

Mill air is saturated with lint, runs at forty degrees, and is full of inverter noise. Operators will work around anything that slows them down. Everything we ship has to survive all three, which is a much harder specification than a trade-show table.

02

Measure on your floor, not ours

We do not publish a payback figure, because it would be a number from someone else's mill. We publish the model instead, and then we come and measure the real thing against your counts, your shifts and your waste.

03

Do not claim what cannot be proved

Every number on this website is traced to a source, has an owner, and has a date by which it must be re-verified. Figures we cannot yet stand behind are not published — including some that would flatter us. A claim a customer can disprove is worse than no claim.

04

The mill must not depend on us being reachable

Everything runs on-premise. If the line to the outside world drops at two in the morning, the floor keeps tracking, the alerts keep firing and the records keep being written. The cloud is where you look at it from home, not where the mill's operation lives.

05

Say what it does, not how it does it

Four years of mill-floor physics is the part of this that does not compress, and it is straightforward to copy once described. So our public material states the problem and the outcome. Under an agreement, after a site visit, we will go as deep as you want.

Who we are

A small team that spends a lot of time on other people’s floors.

Sivaprakash Subramaniam

Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Founded AIMMASS to close a gap he had watched cost mills for years: production and quality problems that stay invisible until they have already taken the yield, and machines whose true running state nobody can see while a shift is running. He leads the company across the whole stack — the hardware and firmware in the can, the platform that ingests it, and the dashboards a supervisor actually opens at four in the morning.

Chief Technology Officer

Leads engineering across the platform and the device fleet — the records mills are audited against, and the discipline that keeps a whole deployed fleet running as one.

Being here is not sentiment. It is the shortest feedback loop we could buy.

The mills, the machine builders, the component makers and the people who have run three shifts a day for thirty years are all within an hour. When something does not work as expected we can be standing in front of it the same morning, and that has shaped this product more than any specification we wrote.

Come and stand on a floor with us.

It is a better conversation than a call, and half a day is usually enough.
