AIRing

Every spindle decides for itself.

Individual spindle monitoring, with a roving stop that fires at the spindle.

The problem on your floor

Every "individual" spindle monitoring system on the market puts a sensor at each spindle and the intelligence in a board serving twenty-four of them. When that board dies, individual monitoring dies for the whole section. And a break travels to a machine station and back before anything stops — while drafted material keeps feeding the waste.

What it does

Outcomes, not method

  • 01Break detection at every spinning position, independently
  • 02A roving stop that acts at the spindle, not seconds later
  • 03True per-spindle speed — the channel that makes slip, rogue and idle spindle analytics possible
  • 04Zero configuration: a replacement is recognised without anyone setting it up

Why it is different

On every other system the decision is made a long way from the break, and a single failure takes a whole section blind. Here one stopped end is one stopped end.

How it connects

AIRing publishes to AIMMASS Floor, over the same open bus as everything else.

AIRing closes the chain at the spindle, so a cone can be followed back to the bale it came from.
